SALES DASHBOARDS

Qatar sales dashboards need Arabic-language KPI views for senior leadership, a GCC country split across UAE, KSA, and Qatar, and a Ramadan performance comparison that shows management why Q1 always underperforms the annual target

Senior management in Qatar-based businesses makes revenue decisions. Most of them conduct those reviews in Arabic. The dashboards they are being shown are in English, and the data inside them does not account for two structural realities of doing business across the GCC: that the pipeline spans multiple countries with different trading conditions, and that Ramadan is a distinct trading period that cannot be compared against non-Ramadan months without producing misleading trend lines. The result is that management reporting still happens via manually prepared Arabic-language slides compiled each month from CRM exports, while the live dashboard sits unused by the people who most need it. The data is there. The configuration to make it usable for GCC senior leadership has never been done. We build sales dashboards for Qatar and GCC businesses that include Arabic-language management views, GCC country segmentation, Ramadan period benchmarking, and deal concentration reporting suited to high-value, low-volume pipeline models.

This is for you if

This is for Nepali business owners and sales managers who:

Check booking and revenue numbers by asking a team member, then wait for them to count

Run end-of-month reports by having someone copy figures from multiple sources into a spreadsheet

Have no single place that shows enquiries, conversion rates, revenue, and team activity together

Do not know what percentage of enquiries become actual bookings, or where most leads drop off

Cannot tell, without asking, how many calls or follow-up messages their sales team made last week

This applies to education businesses, real estate firms, travel and hospitality operators, healthcare providers, and any Nepal-based service business where enquiry volume and conversion rate directly determine monthly revenue.

Problems We Solve

Arabic-language senior management dashboard not built

Qatar senior leadership teams working primarily in Arabic are reviewing English-only CRM dashboards in weekly or monthly meetings, or they are not reviewing dashboards at all and receiving manually compiled PowerPoint slides instead. The PowerPoint slides are accurate as of the moment they are prepared. They are out of date by the time the meeting occurs. Arabic-language dashboard configuration is available in Power BI (which supports right-to-left text rendering and Arabic number formatting) and in Zoho Analytics. The configuration requires translating KPI labels, report titles, and dashboard component descriptions into Arabic, enabling right-to-left layout where the platform supports it, and using Arabic number formatting for currency and percentage displays. This work is not technically complex but requires Arabic-language review to ensure the KPI terminology matches what the leadership team uses in their reporting language. We configure Arabic-language management dashboards in Power BI or Zoho Analytics, review all translations with Arabic-speaking reviewers, and deliver a live dashboard that replaces the monthly PowerPoint preparation process.

No GCC country segmentation in pipeline reporting

Qatar-based businesses operating across the GCC typically hold pipeline in UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman in addition to Qatar. The standard CRM pipeline report shows an aggregate deal value with no country breakdown. Sales leadership cannot see which GCC market is driving the most pipeline, which market has the fastest close cycle, or which market is underperforming its annual target. GCC country segmentation requires a country field on deal records populated consistently at the point of deal creation. In many CRM implementations, a country field exists on the contact or company record but not on the deal record, and the sales team has not been tagging deals by country because the dashboard never showed country-level data. We audit the current deal record fields, add GCC country segmentation to the deal object where it is missing, build a back-fill process for existing open deals, and configure pipeline reports and dashboards with GCC country filters and a country-level performance comparison view.

Ramadan performance segment absent

Qatar pipeline reports showing monthly or quarterly performance trends over a 12-month period will always show the same pattern: Ramadan-period months underperform adjacent months. Management reviewing this trend without a Ramadan segment applied will interpret the underperformance as a sales execution problem rather than a calendar phenomenon. The correct reporting approach is to create a Ramadan period flag on deal records and date dimensions, build a Ramadan-versus-non-Ramadan performance comparison that sets a separate benchmark for Ramadan months, and show year-over-year Ramadan period comparison (comparing this year's Ramadan performance against last year's Ramadan performance rather than comparing Ramadan against the preceding non-Ramadan months). We build Ramadan period segmentation into Looker Studio and Power BI dashboards, configure the correct benchmark calculation for Ramadan months, and ensure that management reporting never compares Ramadan-period performance against non-Ramadan-period performance as a like-for-like.

High-value deal concentration not visible

Qatar pipeline models are structurally different from the high-volume pipeline models that CRM vendors design their default dashboards for. A Qatar B2B pipeline may contain 12 to 20 active deals, with the top three to five deals representing 70 to 80 percent of total pipeline value. A standard pipeline dashboard showing total deal count, average deal value, and stage distribution does not convey this risk profile accurately. The more important view for a Qatar high-value pipeline is a deal concentration report: what percentage of the total pipeline is represented by the top three deals, what happens to the pipeline coverage ratio if those deals slip by one quarter, and how many deals below a threshold value are needed to compensate for the loss of one large deal. We build deal concentration reports and scenario analysis views for high-value Qatar pipelines, showing management the risk distribution and the coverage implications of losing or delaying the largest deals in the pipeline.

What changes

What a Nepali business looks like after a dashboard is built

Before
After
Before Revenue data sits in the accounting system. Enquiry data sits in WhatsApp. Booking data sits in a Google Sheet. Ad performance data sits in Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads. These four sources are never combined into a single view. When the business owner wants to understand performance, they get a fragmented picture from four separate systems, none of which talk to each other. Pulling a meaningful weekly or monthly picture requires manual effort every time, and the picture is never complete because one person controls each source.
After Reporting time drops to zero — no more manual monthly compilation; the dashboard is always current
Before Someone on the team spends two to four hours each month copying numbers from multiple sources into a reporting spreadsheet. By the time the report is shared with the business owner or management team, the numbers are already a week or more out of date. Decisions made from that report are based on a lagging snapshot, not current reality. A Looker Studio dashboard connected directly to Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and basic CRM sources produces the same report in real time, with zero manual compilation effort.
After Conversion rate becomes visible — for the first time, the business knows the actual enquiry-to-booking rate and can set a realistic improvement target
Before The business does not know what percentage of enquiries become quotes. It does not know what percentage of quotes become bookings. It does not know where in the process most leads stop progressing. Without funnel visibility, there is no data-supported answer to the most important question in sales: which step in the process, if improved, would have the largest impact on revenue? Investing in more lead generation when the conversion rate between quote and booking is 20 percent is a much lower-leverage decision than fixing the conversion rate first.
After Lead source data informs ad spend decisions — when the dashboard shows that Facebook Ads produce twice the volume but half the conversion rate of Google Ads, the budget allocation decision becomes straightforward
Before The business owner has no visibility into how many calls or follow-up messages each team member made in the past week. Performance management relies on subjective impressions and the volume of visible WhatsApp activity. There is no report showing which salesperson is most active, which has the highest conversion rate, or which is sitting on a high number of stale leads. Activity data is the leading indicator of revenue. Without it, the only performance signal available is the lagging result: revenue at the end of the month.
After Team activity becomes a manageable metric — activity data turns a subjective performance conversation into a specific one
How it works

How we build a Nepali business dashboard

  1. 01

    Data source audit

    Week 1

We map every data source the business currently uses: the Google Sheet tracking bookings, the CRM or GoHighLevel account, the Google Analytics setup, the Facebook Ads account, and the Google Ads account. We identify which sources have reliable, consistent data and which need cleaning or restructuring before they can be used in a dashboard.

  2. 02

    KPI definition

    Week 1

We work with the business owner to define the four to eight numbers that matter most for their specific business. For most Nepali businesses this is: total enquiries by source, enquiry-to-booking conversion rate, monthly revenue vs target, and team activity by member. We confirm the definitions before building.

  3. 03

    Data connection and structure

    Week 2

We connect each data source to Looker Studio using available free connectors. Where a direct connector does not exist, we set up a Google Sheets structure that the team updates and that feeds the dashboard automatically. We clean any data quality issues at this stage.

  4. 04

    Dashboard build

    Week 2-3

We build the dashboard in Looker Studio with the agreed KPIs, conversion funnel view, lead source breakdown, and team activity report. We configure date range controls so the business owner can view any period without changing the underlying data.

  5. 05

    Handover and training

    Week 3

We share the dashboard link, walk the business owner and relevant team members through each section, and document the data sources connected. We confirm the team can update data sources without our involvement.

Common questions

FAQs

How do I build an Arabic-language sales dashboard in Power BI for Qatar senior management?

Power BI supports Arabic through right-to-left text rendering, Arabic numeral display, and right-to-left report layout. To build an Arabic-language dashboard, you configure the report canvas direction to right-to-left in the report settings, translate all visual titles, axis labels, and KPI card labels into Arabic directly in the report, and use the Arabic locale setting for number and currency formatting (which renders numbers in Eastern Arabic numerals if required, or Western Arabic numerals with Arabic currency labels). Power BI does not have an automatic translation feature for report labels, so all label translations must be entered manually. The dataset column names and measure names can remain in English on the data model side; only the display labels visible in visuals need to be in Arabic. Review by an Arabic-speaking business analyst is recommended before the final dashboard is shared with leadership.

How do I add GCC country segmentation to a CRM pipeline dashboard for a Qatar-based business?

GCC country segmentation starts with a consistent country field on the deal record in your CRM. In Salesforce and HubSpot, add a custom picklist field to the Deal or Opportunity object with the GCC countries as options (Qatar, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman). Set up a required field validation or a workflow default that assigns country based on the account's billing country if it is not filled in manually. For existing open pipeline, run a bulk update via CSV to back-fill the country field. Once populated, create filtered pipeline report views for each GCC country, a summary report grouped by country, and a Looker Studio or Power BI dashboard page showing pipeline value, deal count, average deal size, and win rate for each GCC country in a single comparable view.

How do I create a Ramadan performance segment in a Qatar sales reporting dashboard?

Ramadan segmentation requires a date dimension table that flags each calendar date as Ramadan or non-Ramadan for each year. In Power BI, this is built in the date table using DAX conditional columns that check whether a date falls within the Ramadan start and end dates for each Hijri year (which shift approximately 11 days earlier each solar year). In Looker Studio connected to Google Sheets, you can maintain a Ramadan date range reference table and use a CASE statement in a calculated field to flag Ramadan periods. Once the flag exists, build a performance comparison view that shows Ramadan-period pipeline activity and close rates alongside a Ramadan-specific target, separate from the non-Ramadan monthly targets. A year-over-year Ramadan comparison (comparing Ramadan 2025 against Ramadan 2024 rather than against the months before or after Ramadan) is the most useful view for senior management.

How do I build a deal concentration risk report for a Qatar B2B pipeline with a small number of high-value contracts?

A deal concentration report requires calculating, for each snapshot period, what percentage of the total open pipeline value is represented by the top N deals. In Power BI, this is built using a RANKX measure to rank deals by value within the current filter context, a calculated measure for the sum of the top N deals, and a percentage-of-total calculation comparing top-N pipeline to total pipeline. The dashboard should show the top three to five deals by value, their stage, expected close date, and their combined share of total pipeline as a percentage. A scenario toggle that allows the viewer to remove one or more top deals and see the resulting pipeline coverage ratio is a useful addition for risk discussions. In Salesforce, a similar view can be built using a custom report type with a top-N filter and a pipeline coverage formula field on the Opportunity object.

What CRM reporting tool is most suitable for a Qatar or GCC business that needs Arabic-language dashboard support?

Power BI is currently the strongest option for Arabic-language dashboard support in the GCC, both because of its right-to-left rendering capability and because of its widespread adoption in the region's enterprise and government sector. Zoho Analytics also supports Arabic and is a strong choice for businesses already on the Zoho CRM stack. Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) has limited right-to-left text support and is better suited as a supplementary dashboard tool for external-facing reports rather than primary Arabic-language management reporting. Salesforce's native dashboards do not support right-to-left layout or Arabic KPI labels without significant customisation. For most Qatar and GCC businesses, the recommended stack is CRM data (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM) feeding into Power BI for Arabic-language management dashboards.

Ready to see your business numbers in one place?

Most Nepali businesses already have the data — it is just in four separate places and nobody has combined it. A Looker Studio dashboard does not require new software, does not require changing how your team works, and does not require technical knowledge to use once it is built. If you want to stop asking team members what the numbers are and start seeing them directly, we can map your current data sources and tell you exactly what a dashboard would show.
