Amazon AU listing titles not following the keyword and character placement formula
Amazon's search algorithm weights the first 80 characters of a product title heavily for keyword relevance. Most Australian brand owners write titles the way they would write a product name on their own website: brand name first, followed by a short product description. Amazon titles need to be structured differently — primary keyword first, brand name second, key product attributes in the remaining characters. A title starting with "BrandName Premium Moisturiser" will rank lower for the query "moisturiser for dry skin" than a title starting with "Moisturiser for Dry Skin" because Amazon's algorithm reads the title from left to right for search relevance.
