WEBSITE REDESIGN

When your website has traffic but not enough conversions, the problem is the structure

A lot of Australian businesses built or updated their websites during 2020 and 2021. Those sites were built for a different version of the business, sometimes a different set of services, and often a different market. If your site is now sending Google Ads traffic to a page that does not match what you are selling today, the bounce rate is the symptom. The structure is the cause.

This is for you if

This is for businesses whose website is not doing its job

Your Google Ads account is spending. Traffic is arriving. The bounce rate is high and the conversion rate is low. The agency running the ads tells you the ads are performing. They are probably right. The problem is where the traffic lands. A site that does not communicate clearly, load fast, or guide a visitor to an action will waste every dollar you put into media spend.

Your business has evolved since the site was last touched. New service lines, a pivot in positioning, or a full rebrand. The existing site no longer reflects what you do or who you do it for. You need the new version live without a six-month build conversation. A redesign starts from the audit, preserves what is still accurate, and rebuilds only what has changed.

In Australian B2B markets, your website is checked before every meeting, proposal, and referral conversation. A site that still has pre-COVID service descriptions, a layout that breaks on mobile, or no visible proof of your work creates doubt before you have said anything. First impressions in professional services are not recoverable.

What's broken

Four reasons your site is not converting

Weak homepage messaging

Your homepage does not communicate clearly what you do, for whom, or why it matters. Visitors scan for relevance in the first few seconds. If the headline is vague, the subhead is generic, and the first CTA is buried, they leave. Generic "welcome to our website" copy is not a strategy.

No clear user journey

There are pages, but there is no path. A visitor arrives on your homepage and has no obvious next step. Service pages are listed but not prioritised. CTAs are inconsistent or missing. Without a designed journey, visitors browse without committing and leave without converting.

Trust signals missing or poorly placed

Client logos, testimonials, case studies, and specific results build trust at every scroll point. When they are absent, buried at the bottom, or replaced with vague statements like "trusted by businesses across Australia," visitors find a competitor who made their proof visible.

Mobile experience broken

A large proportion of B2B research happens on mobile before a meeting or after hours. If your site's layout collapses on a phone, images do not load, or forms are difficult to complete on a small screen, you are losing leads before they have a chance to decide.

What we engineer

The five parts of a Website Redesign at Ignited Nepal

Site Audit Report

We begin with a structured audit of your current site. This covers traffic and conversion data from Google Analytics and Search Console, mobile and desktop rendering, page speed, content accuracy, and CTA performance. You receive a written report that lists what stays, what changes, and what is removed.

New Information Architecture and Sitemap

We restructure the site around what your visitors need to find and what your business needs them to do. The new sitemap reflects your current services, your target audience, and the action you want every visitor to take. Page-by-page purpose statements and a CTA hierarchy are defined before any design work begins.

Wireframes and Design

Every key page is wireframed before design begins. Wireframes establish content hierarchy, user flow, and CTA placement without visual distraction. Once approved, we produce full designs that apply your brand. Every layout decision has a reason.

Rebuild and Content Migration

We build the redesigned site on your agreed platform and migrate your existing content. Accurate content is preserved and placed into the new structure. Outdated content is flagged for revision or removal. Nothing disappears without a redirect in place.

Launch, Redirect Map, and Analytics Continuity

At launch, every changing or removed URL gets a 301 redirect to the correct new destination. Google Analytics and Search Console tracking are reconnected and verified before go-live. Search equity that your site has accumulated is not lost because a redirect was missed.

What changes

What is different after a redesign

Before
After
Before Your homepage does not communicate clearly what you do, for whom, or why it matters. Visitors scan for relevance in the first few seconds. If the headline is vague, the subhead is generic, and the first CTA is buried, they leave. Generic "welcome to our website" copy is not a strategy.
After Your homepage leads with a specific, clear statement of what you do and for whom. The hero section earns the visitor's attention. Everything below it builds the case for the next action.
Before There are pages, but there is no path. A visitor arrives on your homepage and has no obvious next step. Service pages are listed but not prioritised. CTAs are inconsistent or missing. Without a designed journey, visitors browse without committing and leave without converting.
After Service pages describe what you actually offer today. The positioning reflects where the business is now. Copy, imagery, and tone align with the brand you are presenting to the market, not the one you had three years ago.
Before Client logos, testimonials, case studies, and specific results build trust at every scroll point. When they are absent, buried at the bottom, or replaced with vague statements like "trusted by businesses across Australia," visitors find a competitor who made their proof visible.
After Every key page has a primary CTA. Visitors who are not ready to contact you have a secondary path: a case study, a service overview, or a resource. The distance between arrival and enquiry is short.
Before A large proportion of B2B research happens on mobile before a meeting or after hours. If your site's layout collapses on a phone, images do not load, or forms are difficult to complete on a small screen, you are losing leads before they have a chance to decide.
After The redirect map ensures that the authority your old site built does not disappear at launch. Traffic is monitored in the days after go-live to identify and resolve any issues before they affect rankings.
How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    Audit

    Week 1

We audit your existing site against traffic data, conversion performance, mobile rendering, content accuracy, and page speed. You receive a written report and we agree on scope before any design work begins.

  2. 02

    Architecture and Design

    Weeks 2 to 4

We produce the revised sitemap, wireframes for all key pages, and full designs. You review and approve at each stage. Build does not begin until structure and design are confirmed.

  3. 03

    Build and Migration

    Weeks 4 to 8

We build the site, migrate content, flag copy for revision, and prepare the redirect map. You review a staging version before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    Launch and Monitoring

    Weeks 8 to 10

We launch. Redirects are activated. Analytics is verified. Traffic and crawl behaviour are monitored in the days following launch and any issues are resolved before they compound.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about Website Redesign

How long does a website redesign take?

A standard redesign takes six to ten weeks from audit to launch. Timeline depends on the size of the site, the volume of content being migrated, and how quickly review stages are completed. We confirm the timeline at the end of the audit phase once scope is defined.

What happens to our existing content?

Content that is accurate and still relevant is migrated into the new structure. Content that is outdated, off-brand, or no longer serves a purpose is flagged in the audit report for revision or removal. Nothing is deleted without your sign-off.

Will our Google rankings be affected?

Done correctly, a redesign preserves and often improves rankings by improving page speed, mobile experience, and content relevance. Every redesign we deliver includes a complete redirect map so that no URL disappears without a proper redirect. Analytics tracking is verified at launch to ensure continuity.

We are already working with a Google Ads agency. Does a redesign affect the campaign?

The redesign improves the landing pages your ads are sending traffic to. We coordinate with your ads team to ensure that any URL changes are communicated before launch and that the campaigns are pointing to the correct new destinations.

Can you redesign just part of the site, not all of it?

Yes. The audit report determines what actually needs to change. If your blog or resource section is performing well, we leave it. If your service pages are the problem, we focus there. Scope is determined by the audit, not by a default assumption that everything needs to be rebuilt.
