WEB APP DEVELOPMENT

When no off-the-shelf tool fits your workflow, you build the tool

Ignited Nepal builds custom web applications for businesses operating in the UAE. Real estate portals, hospitality booking systems, corporate client tools, and reporting dashboards built for the specific process, not for the average business in your category.

This is for you if

Custom web apps are the right investment when the process is specific, the volume is significant, and generic software creates more friction than it removes.

Your team manages property listings, client communications, booking confirmations, or corporate reporting through a chain of spreadsheets and email threads. The process is running. It should not be running this way. Every manual step is a risk and a cost.

You have an idea for a platform, a booking tool, a marketplace, or a client-facing portal. You need working software to take to your first users or your first investors. You need a team that can move from a clear brief to a functional application without requiring you to manage the technical details.

Your clients are high-value. Their experience of interacting with your business matters. A client portal that reflects your brand, protects their data, and gives them real-time visibility into the work you are doing for them is not a luxury at this level. It is what the relationship requires.

What's broken

Most businesses that need a custom web app are managing a recognisable set of problems before they build one.

Manual data transfer between tools

Staff are copying property data from a CRM into a listing tool, from the listing tool into a report, from the report into a client presentation. Each transfer is a chance for error. Each error costs time and, in high-value transactions, can cost considerably more than time.

The spreadsheet that breaks under real business load

Shared spreadsheets work at small scale. They fail at the scale of a real business. Concurrent editing creates conflicts. Version history is unreliable. The file that was good enough last year is now the most fragile part of the operation.

Off-the-shelf software built for a different market

Most business software is built for markets in the US or Europe. The workflows, compliance contexts, and client expectations in the UAE are different. Features your process requires are missing. Features that exist were built for a different kind of business. You are adapting to the software rather than the software serving the business.

No audit trail or reporting visibility

Nobody can tell who approved a contract, when a record was updated, or how a client request was handled. When senior management asks for a status report, someone assembles it manually. Visibility into the process does not exist because it was never built in.

What we engineer

A web app project with Ignited Nepal covers the full span from understanding the process to handing over a working, documented system.

Requirements Workshop

We work with the people who run the process. We map every step, every decision point, every data field, and every user role. Edge cases surface here, before they become expensive changes during development.

Technical Specification

Before writing code, we produce a specification defining the data model, user roles and permissions, integrations required, and the business logic governing the workflow. This document is the shared reference for everything that follows.

UX Wireframes

We design the user interface before building it. You review and approve layouts, navigation flows, and form structures before development begins. A change at wireframe stage costs hours. The same change post-development costs significantly more.

Front-End and Back-End Development

We build the full application: the interface users interact with, the server logic processing the data, and the database holding the records. Stack selection is matched to the project requirements. We work in Next.js, React, Node.js, and Laravel.

API Integrations

We build integrations to CRMs, payment gateways, calendar tools, property listing platforms, cloud storage, and any other systems your business already uses. Data flows automatically rather than requiring manual transfer between systems.

Testing and QA

Every workflow, every form, every integration is tested before deployment. Functional testing across user roles, edge case testing on data inputs, and load testing where volume is a factor. Issues are resolved before launch.

Deployment, Documentation, and Handover

We deploy to Vercel, AWS, or your own infrastructure. Documentation covers system architecture, user guides, and maintenance. Handover includes a live walkthrough with your team. Post-launch support is defined before the engagement closes.

What changes

A purpose-built web application changes how the process runs and what leadership can see.

Before
After
Before Staff are copying property data from a CRM into a listing tool, from the listing tool into a report, from the report into a client presentation. Each transfer is a chance for error. Each error costs time and, in high-value transactions, can cost considerably more than time.
After Tasks that previously required checking a spreadsheet, sending a follow-up, and updating a record manually now happen inside the system. Staff time shifts from coordination overhead to work that requires judgment.
Before Shared spreadsheets work at small scale. They fail at the scale of a real business. Concurrent editing creates conflicts. Version history is unreliable. The file that was good enough last year is now the most fragile part of the operation.
After One system of record. Everyone with appropriate access sees the same information at the same time. The version control problem does not exist when there is only one version.
Before Most business software is built for markets in the US or Europe. The workflows, compliance contexts, and client expectations in the UAE are different. Features your process requires are missing. Features that exist were built for a different kind of business. You are adapting to the software rather than the software serving the business.
After Dashboards and reports are built into the application. Senior managers see live status across the process without asking a coordinator to compile a summary. Decisions are made on current information.
Before Nobody can tell who approved a contract, when a record was updated, or how a client request was handled. When senior management asks for a status report, someone assembles it manually. Visibility into the process does not exist because it was never built in.
After Custom applications are extended as requirements change. New features, new user roles, new market requirements are added to the existing codebase. The system adapts. You are not dependent on a vendor's product roadmap.
How it works

Four stages from first conversation to live application.

  1. 01

    Discovery and Requirements

    Week 1 to 2

We map the process end to end with the people who run it. We identify the data, the logic, the integrations, and the user roles. Everything is documented in a requirements brief.

  2. 02

    Specification and Design

    Week 2 to 4

We produce the technical specification and UX wireframes. You review and approve both before development begins. This stage eliminates the class of problem that comes from unstated assumptions.

  3. 03

    Development and Integration

    Week 4 to 10

We build in agreed sprints. You see working software at regular intervals. Integrations are built and tested module by module. Feedback happens on working features, not on paper descriptions of features.

  4. 04

    Testing, Launch, and Handover

    Week 10 to 12

Full QA across all workflows and user roles. Deployment to production environment. Documentation delivered. Live handover session with your team. Post-launch support window agreed before we close the engagement.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about Web App Development

How long does a web app take to build?

Most web applications built by Ignited Nepal take between eight and fourteen weeks from signed brief to live deployment. The timeline depends on the number of user roles, the complexity of the business logic, and the number of integrations required. We provide a realistic timeline at specification stage.

Who owns the code at the end of the project?

You own the code. At handover, the full codebase is transferred to your repository and your hosting environment. Ignited Nepal retains no ownership. You are not locked in for future development or maintenance.

Can you build to UAE data residency or compliance requirements?

Data residency and compliance requirements are identified during the requirements workshop and addressed in the technical specification. We can deploy to infrastructure within the UAE or to cloud regions that meet specific data locality requirements. These are engineering decisions made at the start of the project, not considerations raised after the system is built.

Can the application support Arabic language interfaces?

Web applications can be built with right-to-left layout support and Arabic language content. This is scoped during the requirements stage. Bilingual applications require additional design and development time that is factored into the specification and timeline.

What is the engagement model for post-launch changes?

Post-launch changes are handled under a separate maintenance and enhancement agreement. The scope, rate, and response time for post-launch work is agreed before the initial project closes. You know what support looks like before you need it.

Your process deserves a tool built for it

If your business in the UAE is managing an important workflow through spreadsheets, disconnected platforms, or software built for a different market, a custom web application is worth a conversation. Ignited Nepal builds purpose-built systems for businesses that need software designed for the specific process, not a generic approximation of it.
