Rank in Dubai before a competitor captures your next customer

When someone in Dubai Marina or Business Bay searches for your service, three businesses appear in the Google Maps pack. Yours needs to be one of them — in both English and Arabic.

What's broken

Your competitors are showing up when nearby customers search. You're not.

Your Google Business Profile is English-only

A significant portion of local searches in Dubai are conducted in Arabic. A GBP listing with only an English business name, description, and services misses every Arabic-language search — including the customers who search in Arabic first and English second.

You're not in the Maps pack for your neighbourhood

Dubai's local search market is organised around districts — JLT, DIFC, JBR, Silicon Oasis, Al Quoz. Ranking for "clinic Dubai" is insufficient. You need to rank for "clinic Jumeirah Lakes Towers" or "dentist Business Bay" to capture the customers who are physically nearby.

Your NAP details don't match across UAE directories

Old phone numbers, incorrect PO box details, or a different trade name on Dubai Yellow Pages versus your GBP — each inconsistency reduces Google's confidence in your listing and directly suppresses your Maps ranking.

You have no review strategy for a culturally diverse customer base

Customers in the UAE come from dozens of countries with different review-writing habits. Without a structured review request process that reaches your actual customers, your review count stalls — and your ranking along with it.

Your GBP category doesn't match Dubai's search patterns

The right GBP category for a Dubai clinic or hospitality business differs from Western market conventions. We've seen businesses using UK-style category terms that simply don't match how UAE customers search.

What we engineer

What's included in our local SEO service

Google Business Profile optimisation

What it means: Full Arabic and English optimisation of your GBP listing — not just the basics. Why it matters: A bilingual, fully built-out GBP ranks higher, reaches more customers, and converts better than a single-language placeholder listing. What you get: Audit and rebuild of your GBP — correct primary and secondary categories for the UAE market, bilingual business description and service listings, 10+ photos, Q&A in both languages, and an ongoing monthly update schedule.

Local keyword research and targeting

What it means: Mapping the Arabic and English search terms your customers actually use when looking for your service in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah — including district-level terms. Why it matters: Search behaviour in the UAE combines English brand terms with Arabic service terms. Targeting only one language pattern means missing a significant share of searches. What you get: A bilingual keyword map covering your main service categories, district-level targets, and competitor ranking terms.

Citation building and NAP consistency

What it means: Your business details verified and consistent across the UAE directories and platforms Google uses to confirm local business legitimacy. Why it matters: The UAE citation landscape includes Arabic-language directories alongside English-language platforms. Inconsistencies across either suppress your local ranking. What you get: Audit of existing citations, correction of mismatches, and new listings on priority UAE directories including Dubizzle Business, Dubai Yellow Pages, and sector-specific platforms.

Review strategy and monitoring

What it means: A review collection process designed for the UAE's diverse customer base — where a simple post-visit ask works better than automated email sequences for many businesses. Why it matters: Review volume and recency are among Google's top local ranking signals. In the UAE, where customers come from many countries, a system that works across languages matters. What you get: Review request process (QR card, WhatsApp follow-up, or email), response templates in English and Arabic, and monthly monitoring with alerts for new reviews.

Local content and landing pages

What it means: District-level landing pages targeting the specific area searches your customers use across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Why it matters: "Clinic Dubai" is too broad. "Dental clinic Jumeirah" ranks for the customers in that district who are ready to book. What you get: Written and published local landing pages for your top 2–3 districts, with bilingual keyword targeting, schema markup, and internal linking.

Local tracking and monthly reporting

What it means: Monthly reporting on calls, direction requests, and local pack positions — in the language your team reads. Why it matters: Knowing whether your GBP is generating enquiries versus impressions is the difference between an SEO investment and an SEO expense. What you get: Monthly report covering GBP insights, local keyword rankings, citation health, and review growth. Available in English; Arabic summary on request.

Common questions

Questions about local SEO in the UAE

How long does it take to rank in the Google Maps pack in Dubai?

Most UAE businesses see measurable movement in local pack rankings within 60–90 days of a full bilingual GBP optimisation and citation campaign. Dubai's local search market is competitive in premium districts but significantly more accessible in outer districts and Abu Dhabi, where fewer businesses have properly optimised profiles.

Does my GBP need to be in Arabic as well as English?

Yes — if your customers include Arabic-speaking searchers, and in most Dubai businesses they do. Google serves Arabic-language results to Arabic-language queries. A GBP listing with only English content won't appear in those results. We set up and optimise both language variants.

Can you handle local SEO for both Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Each city requires its own district-level keyword targeting and, ideally, a separate GBP listing if you have physical locations in both. We handle multi-city UAE local SEO and track each location's performance independently.

What UAE directories matter most for local citations?

The highest-authority UAE directories for local SEO include Dubai Yellow Pages, Dubizzle Business, Abu Dhabi Directory, Yalwa UAE, and sector-specific platforms relevant to your industry. For hospitality, TripAdvisor and Zomato carry citation weight. For clinics, platforms registered with DHA or HAAD matter. We prioritise by industry and location.

What about Lusail and emerging areas in Dubai — can you target new districts?

Yes. New and rapidly developing districts like Dubai Hills, Mohammed Bin Rashid City, and emerging Abu Dhabi areas can be targeted through service area settings on GBP and through dedicated landing pages. We build the pages before the competition establishes a foothold.

Can you help with a negative review campaign — fake or competitor-placed reviews?

Yes. We monitor your review profile for patterns that suggest coordinated fake reviews, guide you through Google's review removal process, and build your legitimate review count to reduce the impact of any isolated negative reviews.

How much does local SEO cost in the UAE?

We don't publish pricing because scope varies by starting point and language requirements. A single-location Dubai clinic needs different work than a multi-branch healthcare group covering Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The diagnostic scopes the work accurately — pricing follows in AED.

Do I need a physical Dubai address for local SEO, or can I use a free zone address?

Google verifies GBP listings against the address provided. Free zone addresses (DMCC, DIFC, RAKEZ) are valid for GBP listing purposes — what matters is that the address is consistent across your website, your GBP, and every directory that lists you. We verify this as part of the diagnostic.
