Listing title missing the primary keyword — invisible in Amazon.ca search
Amazon's A9 algorithm on Amazon.ca assigns the highest keyword weight to the title. A listing title that doesn't include the exact terms Canadian buyers type into the search bar will not rank for those queries, regardless of how relevant the product is. Most Amazon.ca sellers write titles for appearance rather than for the algorithm — leading with their brand name or product style, and burying or omitting the search term that actually drives traffic. A9 reads the first 80 characters of a title with the most weight. If your primary keyword isn't there, you're competing with one hand tied behind your back.
