LANDING PAGES

Your ads are bringing in clicks. Your landing page is sending them away.

Most Canadian businesses point paid traffic at a homepage or service page built for organic visitors — the message from the ad is not reflected, the offer is buried, and the visitor leaves without acting. We build dedicated landing pages engineered to the exact campaign, audience, and offer that generated the click.

What's broken

Here's what's blocking your growth

Homepage as landing page

The homepage exists to orient all types of visitors across all your services or products. It is structurally incapable of converting a paid visitor who arrived expecting a specific answer to a specific need. Navigation options, multiple CTAs, and broad messaging give visitors routes away from conversion that a dedicated landing page removes.

Message mismatch

When the ad copy makes a specific promise — a service, a discount, a geographic area, a problem solved — and the landing page does not immediately echo that promise, the visitor's trust in the relevance of the page drops sharply. The click was earned by the ad; the conversion is lost by the page. Message mismatch is the most common and most costly landing page failure in paid acquisition.

No conversion tracking

Without form submission tracking and call tracking connected to the ad platform, you cannot distinguish which campaigns, keywords, and audiences are producing customers from those producing only clicks and sessions. Budget allocation remains approximate and optimisation is not grounded in conversion data.

PIPEDA compliance not addressed

Canadian businesses collecting lead data through landing page forms are subject to PIPEDA requirements governing consent, data use disclosure, and the right of individuals to access their information. Forms that do not meet these requirements create compliance risk alongside the conversion problems. Compliance and conversion performance are not in conflict — they can be addressed together in the build.

What we engineer

What's included

Strategy and message mapping

We audit your ad copy, keyword targeting, and audience segments to identify the precise promise made at the point of click. A message map documents the hierarchy the landing page must deliver — from the above-fold headline through to the CTA — so that every element is doing conversion work and nothing on the page contradicts the ad's promise.

Wireframe and copy

A structured wireframe establishes the page architecture before any design decisions are made: hero, proof strip, problem statement, offer, social proof, and CTA. Copy is written to the wireframe so that message and layout are determined together. This prevents the common failure of fitting copy to a pre-existing design that was not built for the message.

Design and build

Pages are built in Shopify or Unbounce depending on your campaign stack and existing platform infrastructure. Shopify is the preferred build environment for e-commerce campaigns where the landing page feeds directly into the purchase flow. Unbounce is preferred for lead generation campaigns requiring rapid variant testing and campaign-specific customisation.

Conversion tracking

Form submission tracking and call tracking are installed and connected to your Google Ads or Meta Ads account. PIPEDA-compliant consent language is configured on all forms, with appropriate privacy notices and data use disclosures. Conversion data flows to the ad platform for campaign optimisation without capturing data outside the scope of stated consent.

A/B testing framework

A primary variant and at least one challenger are built simultaneously. Test hypotheses are documented before launch, and the traffic volume and time horizon required to reach statistical significance are defined. The framework is operational at launch — not configured after the first round of data arrives.

What changes

What changes

Before
After
Before The page matches the ad that brought the visitor
After Above-fold copy reflects the specific promise made in the ad. The visitor who clicked on a search result for a specific service in a specific Canadian city arrives at a page that immediately confirms they are in the right place. Abandonment from message confusion decreases.
Before Conversion data is complete
After Form tracking and call tracking together capture the full picture of conversions — not just the digital form submissions but the phone enquiries that represent a material share of customer acquisition for many Canadian service businesses. Optimisation decisions use real conversion data across both channels.
Before Compliance is built in, not retrofitted
After PIPEDA-compliant consent mechanisms are part of the build, not an add-on. Privacy notices, data use disclosures, and appropriate opt-in language are integrated into the form design from the start. Compliance does not require a separate audit or legal review of a page built without it.
Before Performance has a systematic improvement path
After The A/B testing framework means page performance is not static after launch. Each test round produces data about what your specific Canadian audience responds to. Over time, the testing history becomes a meaningful body of conversion knowledge specific to your market, audience, and offer.
Common questions

Questions

Do I need a separate landing page for each campaign, or can one page serve multiple campaigns?

One page built to a single audience, offer, and message will outperform a page trying to serve multiple campaigns. The degree of difference between your campaigns determines whether separate pages are required — campaigns targeting the same audience with the same offer can share a page; campaigns targeting different cities, different buyer types, or different offers should each have a dedicated page. The strategy brief determines the right page architecture for your specific campaign structure.

What does PIPEDA compliance mean for a landing page form?

PIPEDA requires that individuals providing personal information understand what it will be used for and consent to that use. For a landing page form, this means a clear privacy notice linked at or near the form, explicit consent language where the data will be used for marketing purposes beyond responding to the enquiry, and a documented data handling process. We configure these elements during the build — the form is not an afterthought to the page.

Do you build for Shopify or Unbounce — how is the decision made?

The decision is made during the strategy brief based on your existing platform infrastructure and campaign type. If the landing page feeds directly into a Shopify purchase flow, Shopify is the right build environment. If the landing page is for lead generation, service enquiries, or any conversion event that does not involve an immediate Shopify transaction, Unbounce is typically the better choice for its built-in A/B testing and campaign-specific customisation capabilities.

Can you build bilingual English and French landing pages for Quebec or national campaigns?

Yes. French-language landing pages for Quebec campaigns or bilingual pages for national campaigns targeting both English and French audiences can be built as part of the engagement. Bilingual campaigns are quoted separately as the copy and compliance requirements differ between the two versions. French-language PIPEDA-compliant consent language is included.

What is included in the 10-day build and what is not?

The 10-day build includes: strategy brief and message mapping, wireframe and copy, design and build on Shopify or Unbounce, conversion tracking setup (form and call tracking), PIPEDA-compliant consent mechanisms, and an A/B testing framework with a defined challenger variant. It does not include ongoing campaign management, ad creative, or CRM integration beyond the form-to-CRM data connection. Post-launch optimisation retainers are available separately.

The ad is not the problem. The page is.

Most Canadian paid acquisition campaigns are losing conversions at the page level — not because the targeting is wrong or the creative is weak, but because the destination page was not built for paid traffic. A dedicated landing page built to your campaign in 10 days changes the conversion economics permanently. The audit is the starting point.
