LANDING PAGE DESIGN

A landing page that converts your paid traffic instead of absorbing it

Most Canadian businesses running Google Ads for professional services, real estate, or home services are sending paid traffic to a website page that was never designed for a cold paid audience. The page has navigation, multiple CTAs, and content written for someone who already knows the company. The visitor who just clicked an ad knows nothing about you and has several other tabs open. We design and build single-purpose landing pages that hold that visitor, answer the right questions in the right order, and give them one clear reason to get in touch.

One CTA, no navigation, matched to your campaign · Conversion tracking from day one · PIPEDA-compliant consent language included
This is for you if

This is for Canadian businesses running paid traffic that is not converting at the rate it should

You are an accountant, lawyer, mortgage broker, insurance broker, or financial planner spending on Google Ads. Your clicks are costing you between fifteen and sixty dollars each. The people clicking your ads are being sent to your website. The website was not built for this. A dedicated landing page built around your offer and your audience changes the economics of your campaign.

You are a realtor, home builder, renovation company, or HVAC service running paid campaigns for lead generation. Your campaign targets a specific neighbourhood, service type, or buyer stage. A generic homepage or service page cannot serve that specificity. A dedicated page matched to the campaign message converts the traffic you are already paying for.

You run recurring campaigns around tax season, spring renovation season, new fiscal year, or a specific promotional offer. Each campaign needs its own page built to that message, audience, and offer. Sending campaign traffic to a permanent website page means the visitor sees content written for a general audience, not for the specific thing they just clicked on.

What's broken

Four reasons landing pages underperform for Canadian paid campaigns

Sending paid traffic to the homepage

The homepage is written for a general visitor who arrived from a search or a referral and is browsing to understand what the company does. A paid visitor clicked a specific ad for a specific reason. The homepage gives them no confirmation that they are in the right place. Most leave within seconds.

Navigation stays on the page

Every link in the navigation is an exit route. If a visitor can click through to the about page, the team page, or a different service, many of them will. A landing page is a one-way path. Navigation undermines that. Remove it.

Copy written for existing clients, not cold prospects

The language on most service pages assumes the reader already understands what the service is, why they need it, and why this company is qualified to provide it. A cold paid visitor has none of that context. The page needs to establish credibility, articulate the problem, and explain the offer from the beginning, not from the middle.

Consent language absent or vague

PIPEDA requires that consent for collecting personal information be meaningful and informed. A form that collects name, email, and phone number with no explanation of how that information will be used and no clear consent mechanism does not meet this standard. This is not a compliance footnote. It affects whether you can legally use the lead data you collect.

What we engineer

Six deliverables, from brief to tracked and compliant build

Page brief

We run a structured brief session covering the campaign, the audience, the traffic source, the offer, the competing alternatives a Canadian buyer in your category would consider, and the one action the page needs to produce. This brief drives every decision that follows.

Wireframe

We wireframe the page before copy or design begins. The wireframe confirms the content hierarchy: what the visitor sees first, where the trust signals appear, where the form sits, and how objections are handled before the CTA. The conversion architecture is decided at this stage.

Copy framework

We write the full copy for the page: headline, subhead, problem framing, service description, proof elements, form copy, and CTA microcopy. Copy is written in Canadian English for the specific audience the campaign targets. We do not write for a keyword list. We write for the person who just clicked the ad.

Design

We design the page to the approved wireframe and copy. Design decisions are made to support the conversion objective. Colour, typography, spacing, and layout are used to direct attention, establish credibility, and reduce friction at the point of action.

Build

We build the page in your chosen platform: Webflow, WordPress, Unbounce, or your existing CMS. The build includes a responsive layout for desktop and mobile, PIPEDA-compliant consent language adjacent to the form submit button, and correct thank-you page configuration for conversion tracking.

A/B variant and conversion tracking

We build an A/B variant of the page with a different headline or CTA, integrate Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics 4 goal recording, and confirm that every form submission is captured correctly before the campaign goes live.

What changes

Four things that are different after the page goes live

Before
After
Before The homepage is written for a general visitor who arrived from a search or a referral and is browsing to understand what the company does. A paid visitor clicked a specific ad for a specific reason. The homepage gives them no confirmation that they are in the right place. Most leave within seconds.
After Every dollar spent on paid traffic now points to a page designed for the specific audience the campaign targets. You can see the conversion rate, the cost per lead, and how the page performs against the variant. You are optimising campaigns on actual conversion data, not click volume.
Before Every link in the navigation is an exit route. If a visitor can click through to the about page, the team page, or a different service, many of them will. A landing page is a one-way path. Navigation undermines that. Remove it.
After The message in the ad continues on the landing page. The headline matches the ad. The copy addresses the objections a buyer at that stage would have. The form asks for the minimum information needed to begin the conversation. There is no gap between what the ad promised and what the page delivers.
Before The language on most service pages assumes the reader already understands what the service is, why they need it, and why this company is qualified to provide it. A cold paid visitor has none of that context. The page needs to establish credibility, articulate the problem, and explain the offer from the beginning, not from the middle.
After PIPEDA-compliant consent language is built into the form from day one. The visitor knows what they are consenting to. Your records are clean. You are not relying on a retroactive compliance fix after collecting data without proper consent.
Before PIPEDA requires that consent for collecting personal information be meaningful and informed. A form that collects name, email, and phone number with no explanation of how that information will be used and no clear consent mechanism does not meet this standard. This is not a compliance footnote. It affects whether you can legally use the lead data you collect.
After The A/B variant gives you two data points from launch. Over the first weeks of the campaign you can see which version performs better and make decisions about what to test next. Landing page improvement becomes a structured process rather than a guess.
How it works

How we build it

  1. 01

    Brief and discovery

One structured session covering the campaign, the audience, the traffic source, the offer, and the one action the page needs to produce. This brief governs every decision in the build.

  2. 02

    Wireframe and copy

We wireframe the page to confirm hierarchy and conversion structure, then write the full copy to the wireframe. Both are reviewed and approved before design begins.

  3. 03

    Design and build

We design to the approved wireframe and copy, then build the page in your chosen platform. The build includes a responsive layout, PIPEDA-compliant consent language adjacent to the form submit button, and correct thank-you page configuration for tracking.

  4. 04

A/B variant, tracking setup, and launch

We build the A/B variant, integrate Google Ads conversion tracking and GA4 goal recording, run QA across devices and browsers, and confirm every conversion event is firing correctly before the campaign is switched on.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about Landing Page Design

How long does a landing page build take?

A standard landing page build from brief to live takes 7 to 10 business days. Projects requiring multiple variants, complex integrations, or extended approval rounds take longer. We confirm the timeline at the start of the project, not as we go.

Which platforms do you build on?

We build on Webflow, WordPress, Unbounce, and most standard CMS platforms. If you have an existing campaign infrastructure or a preferred platform, tell us at the brief stage and we will confirm whether we can build to it before the project begins.

What does PIPEDA-compliant consent language actually look like on the form?

At minimum, the form includes a clear statement of what the submitted information will be used for, adjacent to the submit button where the visitor can see it before acting. For most lead generation forms in Canada, this means one or two sentences explaining that the information will be used to respond to the enquiry, alongside a link to the privacy policy. We write this copy and build it into the form at the design stage.

Do you need to manage the campaign, or can you just build the page?

Landing page design and build is a standalone service. If you want Ignited Nepal to manage the paid campaign as well, that is a separate engagement. Many clients build the page with us and manage the campaign themselves or through another partner. We will tell you clearly what each scope covers.

Can you build separate pages for different cities or service areas?

Yes. If you are running geographically targeted campaigns across multiple cities or service areas, we can build separate variants matched to each location and audience. This is a common pattern for professional services, real estate, and home services businesses running campaigns across multiple Canadian markets.

Start with a landing page brief

Most conversion problems in paid campaigns are visible within the first few minutes of reviewing the page and the traffic it receives. We will look at your current setup and tell you exactly what the page is missing and what a dedicated build would change.
