This is for you if

Who This Is For

Your firm, whether in consulting, law, finance, engineering, or another professional services category, has a website that receives reasonable traffic but generates very few inbound enquiries. Prospective clients visit and leave without acting. You have not changed the site in a while because it is not obvious what to change. A conversion audit identifies the specific barriers between your visitors and your contact form.

You are spending on Google Ads or LinkedIn and driving traffic to landing pages that convert at below one percent. You know the problem is on the page rather than in the channel, but your internal team disagrees about what to fix. A data-driven audit with heatmaps, session recordings, and form analytics removes the opinion from that conversation and replaces it with evidence.

Your Shopify or WooCommerce store is generating traffic but your conversion rate is below what you know is achievable for your product category. You have tried new product photography and new copy, but the improvements have been modest. The problem may be structural: page hierarchy, CTA placement, trust signal positioning, or a checkout flow with too many friction points. An audit finds the structural problem.

What's broken

What's Broken

Your CTA Does Not Tell Visitors What Happens Next

"Contact us", "Get started", and "Learn more" are instructions without context. Canadian B2B visitors in particular want to know what they are committing to before they click. A CTA that specifies what happens after the click, for example "Book a 20-minute call" or "Get your audit report", converts at higher rates than one that describes an action without naming the outcome. The specificity of your CTA is a conversion variable.

Your Form Asks for More Than You Need at This Stage

A first-contact form that asks for company size, annual revenue, project description, and preferred contact method before the visitor has formed any relationship with your business is asking for trust that has not yet been earned. Canadian professional services visitors are cautious about sharing detailed information with an unfamiliar company. A shorter form with a lower commitment threshold will produce more submissions, not fewer qualified ones.

Your Page Does Not Establish Credibility at the Right Moment

Social proof, client logos, case study results, and credentials need to appear at the point on the page where a visitor is deciding whether to trust you, not at the bottom of a long scroll or on a separate page. If your primary conversion page routes interested visitors to an "About" page to find proof of your capabilities, you are asking them to take an extra step that most will not take.

Your Mobile Conversion Rate Is Significantly Below Desktop

Canadian professionals increasingly research and make initial enquiries on mobile, including in the B2B context. If your mobile conversion rate is substantially lower than desktop, the cause is almost always findable in session recordings: form fields that are difficult to use on a phone keyboard, CTAs that require precise tapping, page load times that are adequate on Wi-Fi but poor on mobile data, or a page layout that does not adapt well to a narrow screen.

What we engineer

What We Do

Heatmap and Session Recording Audit

We install heatmap and session recording tools on your highest-traffic conversion pages and collect data for a period sufficient for meaningful analysis. We examine click patterns, scroll depth, exit behaviour, and session-level recordings to identify where visitors are losing engagement or encountering friction. Every recommendation in the audit is grounded in what the data shows, not in general design principles.

Form Analytics

We instrument your lead generation and contact forms to capture field-level behaviour: which fields cause visitors to stop, how long they spend on each field, and at what point they abandon the form. For most Canadian businesses, this data has never been captured and the findings are immediately actionable.

Conversion Audit

We audit your key conversion pages against a structured framework: information hierarchy, CTA placement and copy, social proof presence and position, form design, mobile experience, page load performance, and the alignment between the traffic source and the page it lands on. We produce a prioritised findings report with recommendations ranked by expected impact.

UX Redesign Wireframes

We produce redesign wireframes for your highest-impact pages incorporating the audit findings. Wireframes show the revised page structure, CTA placement, trust signal positioning, and form layout. You can evaluate the proposed changes before any design or development work begins.

A/B Test Plan

We produce a structured A/B test plan specifying which elements to test, what the control and variant should look like, how to measure statistical significance, and the minimum traffic volume required for reliable results. For businesses with sufficient traffic, a systematic A/B test programme produces compounding conversion improvements over time.

CTA Copy Variants

We write multiple CTA copy variants for each key conversion point: button labels, page headlines, subheadings, and form introductory text. CTA copy is among the highest-leverage and most testable conversion variables available. We produce copy calibrated for Canadian professional and B2B contexts, where directness and specificity outperform enthusiasm.

Form Redesign

We redesign your lead generation forms based on form analytics findings: removing unnecessary fields, reordering remaining fields to reduce cognitive load, rewriting labels in plain language, adding appropriate inline validation, and improving the mobile completion experience. A shorter, better-labelled form consistently produces more submissions.

Trust Signal Placement

We advise on which trust signals carry the most weight with your specific Canadian audience and where on the page they should appear. For professional services, credentials and named client results are high-value signals. For e-commerce, review counts, security badges, and return policy clarity are key. We specify placement in the wireframes and confirm implementation.

Implementation Support

We support your development team in implementing the redesigned pages and A/B test variants, or implement directly if appropriate. We verify that conversion tracking is correctly configured so that the impact of each change can be measured accurately.

Before
After
Before "Contact us", "Get started", and "Learn more" are instructions without context.
After A conversion audit and redesign that addresses the primary friction points on your lead generation pages will produce more enquiries from the same traffic. For professional services businesses, even a modest increase in enquiry rate can represent significant additional revenue given average contract values in the Canadian market.
Before A first-contact form that asks for company size, annual revenue, project description, and preferred contact method before the visitor has formed any relationship with your business is asking for trust that has not yet been earned. Canadian professional services visitors are cautious about sharing detailed information with an unfamiliar company. A shorter form with a lower commitment threshold will produce more submissions, not fewer qualified ones.
After Every percentage point improvement in conversion rate reduces your effective cost per lead. A business spending on Google Ads or LinkedIn that moves its landing page conversion rate from one percent to two percent halves its cost per enquiry from that channel. The return on a conversion audit is measurable in direct channel economics.
Before Social proof, client logos, case study results, and credentials need to appear at the point on the page where a visitor is deciding whether to trust you, not at the bottom of a long scroll or on a separate page. If your primary conversion page routes interested visitors to an "About" page to find proof of your capabilities, you are asking them to take an extra step that most will not take.
After A page redesigned to communicate clearly who you work with, what you do, and what happens after the enquiry will generate leads from visitors who understood your offer before they submitted the form. Clearer pages attract more qualified enquiries and reduce the volume of mismatched leads your team spends time on.
Before Canadian professionals increasingly research and make initial enquiries on mobile, including in the B2B context.
After Mobile-specific fixes identified in session recordings close the gap between mobile and desktop conversion rates. For businesses where mobile accounts for 40 to 60 percent of traffic, this represents a material increase in total enquiry volume.
How it works

Process

  1. 01

    Audit Setup and Data Collection

We install heatmap, session recording, and form analytics tools on your key pages. We also review your existing Google Analytics 4 data for funnel drop-off points and device-type performance gaps. Data collection runs for two to four weeks depending on traffic volume.

  2. 02

    Audit Analysis and Findings Report

We analyse the collected data and produce a conversion audit report with prioritised findings and recommendations. We present the findings in a working session with your team and agree the priority order for the redesign phase.

  3. 03

Wireframes, CTA Copy, and Test Plan

We produce redesign wireframes, CTA copy variants, a form redesign, and a structured A/B test plan. All deliverables are reviewed and approved before any implementation work begins.

  4. 04

    Implementation and Measurement

We implement the approved changes and configure tracking to measure their impact. We monitor performance for 30 days post-implementation and provide a results report comparing pre- and post-change conversion metrics.

Common questions

FAQ

How do you determine which pages should be prioritised in a conversion audit?

We prioritise pages based on three criteria: traffic volume, conversion intent, and current conversion rate relative to what is achievable. A high-traffic page with a low conversion rate that sits at the bottom of your primary acquisition funnel will almost always be the highest-impact starting point. We use your Google Analytics 4 data to identify these pages before the audit begins, so the data collection phase is focused on the right places.

We have opinions internally about what needs to change. How does a conversion audit interact with existing opinions?

A conversion audit replaces opinion with evidence. If internal opinion is correct, the data will support it and you will have a stronger mandate for making the change. If internal opinion is incorrect, the data will show you where the real problem is and prevent you from investing in a redesign that does not address the actual barrier. In either case, the audit produces clarity that internal debate cannot.

What traffic volume do we need for A/B testing to be worthwhile?

A/B testing requires sufficient traffic to reach statistical significance within a reasonable timeframe. As a general guide, a page receiving fewer than 500 monthly conversions will require a very long test duration to reach statistical significance on a modest effect size, and direct implementation of changes is often more practical. We assess this during the audit and recommend testing for sites where the traffic volume supports it and direct implementation for sites where it does not.

Can you work with our existing website platform, or do we need to rebuild?

A conversion audit does not require a rebuild. We work with your existing platform, whether it is WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Squarespace, or a custom build. The audit deliverables are platform-agnostic, and implementation is handled within your current environment. The only exception is if the audit identifies a platform limitation as a primary conversion barrier, in which case we will flag it as part of the findings.

How long before we see results from conversion changes?

Measurable results from implemented changes typically appear within 30 days for businesses with adequate traffic. For lower-traffic sites, the measurement period may need to extend to 60 or 90 days to accumulate enough conversion events for a reliable comparison. We set expectations on measurement timelines at the start of the engagement based on your traffic profile.
